Ao Nuan, Ko Samet

BEACH
Ao Nuan is less than a 10-minute walk from the Ao Tubtim. It is a small bay with a narrow strip of white fine sand and only a few people around. Swimming here is pleasant, since the waves are not high and the water is crystal clear.

Grab one of the beach chairs, put it under one of the beautiful trees along the water and relax. It is a good spot on Ko Samet for more solitary beachgoers. Despite not being far from the busier bays, this place feels like you are in the middle of nature.

WHERE TO STAY
Nuan Bungalow offers a range of accommodations, from simple bamboo bungalows with shared bathrooms to nice wooden bungalows with air conditioning. Just up the hill, Noina’s Mystic Mountain offers some simple bungalows. You can also rent a tent for 400 baht or do yoga as an extra activity.

Although both places have a restaurant, you can also just walk to one of the other beaches.
