The beaches are very different, so make sure to take a look at the photos to find out which one you like best. The most developed beach is Suan Luang. WHAT TO DO
The city of Bang Saphan has various facilities and a good variety of shops, restaurants and coffee corners. Bang Saphan’s main attraction is Wat Tham Marong, located 3 kilometers away from the town. This temple is known for the Ploenchit cave near the temple. The cave consists of several underground spaces.

Thirty kilometers south of Bang Saphan are sand dunes, which were created as part of a pilot project to direct tourists to less crowded destinations in Thailand. The dunes are approximately 12 kilometers long and have a maximum height of 30 meters. The dunes are just south of Bang Saithon.

You can book a trip to Ko Talu. Ko Talu is known for its diving and snorkeling spots. During our snorkeling trip we especially enjoyed the many beautiful fish we saw. The coral, however, was less colorful and therefore less impressive. On the island you will find a sea turtle and coral reserve. It is possible to volunteer here.

The landscape on Ko Talu is definitely worth seeing, because of its green hills and dense vegetation. The forest is home to a variety of bird species and is an excellent place for hiking. Various routes are available that lead you through the beautiful nature. In addition, there are opportunities for kayaking and fishing.
