BEACH
Klong Chao on Ko Kut is surrounded by palm trees and is one of the most social beaches on the island. The white sand is very fine and at high tide the beach is wide enough for sunbathing.
The deep blue sea is usually calm and at the southern cape you will find a great place to go snorkeling. Given the location of the beach, it is an excellent base from which you can explore the island itself. Close to the beach there are some small shops, bars and restaurants.
WHERE TO STAY
The stays directly on the beach are in the highest segment. In our opinion they all look good, so be sure to check the internet for the best deal. The bungalows of Peter Pan are spread along the beach and river. The apartments of Wendy The Pool Resort are built along a large swimming pool. The other good options are the High Season Pool Villa & Spa or Tinkerbell Resort.
Behind the resorts, on the other side of the road but not directly on the beach, you will find a number of budget stays. It is less than 100 meters walk to the beach, so be sure to check out these stays if you are traveling on a budget!
The road conditions are good and and you have a good selection of restaurants.
